What Is Animal Care Education

We are here to promote the work of animal care and to explain how we help animals everyday.

We run an educational outreach programme which tells people, especially the young about the five needs of animals.

How Does Animal Care Education Work

We offer visits to nurseries, schools and colleges as well as meetings of uniformed organisations like brownies, Guides, Beavers and scouts.

We have a purpose-built education room based at The Sanctuary, Blea Tarn Road, Lancaster where we can host learning events.

We do not charge for visits, but we rely on donations to keep going because of this organisations usually fundraise for us so that we can continue our work in helping animals everyday.
